Continuing Friends of the Lost Coast’s lecture series on the history and preservation of local lighthouses and the maritime culture they fostered along the Lost Coast, Part 2 - Cape Mendocino Lighthouse Takes Shelter in the Cove happens Tuesday, January 31 from 6 to 7p.m. via Zoom. It is presented in partnership with Cape Mendocino Lighthouse Preservation Society and features their Historian, Brenda McLaughlin, discussing the history of Cape Mendocino Lighthouse from its’ origin in 1856 to its’ big move to Shelter Cove in 1998, through to present day, plus a Q&A.
