Wizard Apprentice & Julius Smack stop in Arcata during their Spring 2018 US West Coast Tour, lovingly titled “Computer Folk Tour.” The name refers to their kindred sonic and aesthetic quality of performance and music. Opposed to high-production professionalism, Wizard Apprentice and Julius Smack share production methods that are deliberately layman using everyday tools like GarageBand and iPhone apps. Computer Folk Tour creates a decidedly queer and intimate space that engages west coast communities of DIY music and visual artists.
