Wolf Night Teach-in
Wildlife advocates are invited to attend the Wolf Night and Teach-in, on Monday June 2nd at the D Street Community Center (1301 D Street in Arcata) from 6-8pm. The Wolf Night Teach-in will feature a film screening, guest speakers, sign making, and speaking tips; it is designed to prepare people for the upcoming California Fish and Game Commission hearing that will be held on Wednesday June 4th at 8:30 in the morning. Conservation groups are asking the Commission to give Gray Wolves full protection under the California Endangered Species Act. There will be a Pre-hearing Rally from 7:30-8:15am, the morning of the hearing. Wolf lovers are encouraged to bring signs of support, wear gray and be prepared to speak to the Commission.
