Women in Black

Humboldt County Courthouse

Women in Black is an international antiwar group of women who stand against violence, injustice, and militarism. It was started by Israeli and Palestinian women. It has won a Peace Prize from the UN and been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The group wears black and stands in silence locally every Tuesday from noon - 1:00PM in front of the County Courthouse. All are welcome to join. There are no meetings or dues.

I don’t know if this is the proper place to put this, as it is a weekly occurrence, not a one time event.
