Women’s Environmental Justice Conference 2026
Women’s Environmental Justice Conference: Native Women and Western Systems of Education, is taking place on Saturday, April 25th, 2026.
This conference is a space to listen and learn from Native Women on their experiences in systems of education. Relating to western systems of education as well as navigating different ways of learning and teaching specific to the conversations around Traditional Ecological Knowledge and land-based practices of living in community.
The gathering will focus on the challenges and realities Native women face within institutional academic systems and community-rooted models of education grounded in Indigenous knowledge, land-based practices, and intergenerational teachings.
