Wood Stove Grant Announcement
The District’s Wood Stove Replacement Program assists in replacing older, non-EPA certified wood stoves, with cleaner, more fuel-efficient wood heating devices or other less polluting heating appliances. The 2017-2018 cycle of the program will target areas selected for Particulate Matter (PM) reduction benefits, utilizing funds from compliance settlement agreements. For this cycle, applicants must reside within two miles of the Blue Lake Power facility, or within the boundaries of the zip code 95565 (Scotia) and 95562 (Rio Dell). Applications for the 2017-2018 cycle of the program will be accepted December 1, 2017 through January 15, 2018.
