Create a unique monster pin using riveted cold connections.

This is a workshop for anyone that would like to expand their metalsmithing skills to include riveting.

Rivets, also called cold connections, are a great way to add detail and alternative materials to your work without the use of a torch.

This is a beginning workshop. Basic skills like sawing, filing, and sanding are very helpful, but not required.

Our resident metalsmith, Erin Austin, will guide you through

*Safety and PPE (personal protective equipment)
*Planning
*Measuring and cutting riveting material
*Setting rivets with a variety of hand tools
