Yacht Blooded w/ DJ Red Dondo Beach
Yacht Blooded was formed by members of three of the most celebrated yacht rock bands of all time: Come Aboard, the Royal Seamen, and Love & Satisfaction. Pianist Sam Diego and guitarist “the Flying Dutchman” were founding members of the Royal Seamen with drummer Little Dick from the band Come
Aboard. The Royal Seamen met with critical acclaim, but their sales stumbled when their debut album, A Boat Full of Seamen was banned due to an unfortunate typo. Vocal duo Marcello Love and Max Satisfaction toured for years as Love & Satisfaction and had a gold record with their single “Love and Satisfaction” off their eponymous debut album Love and Satisfaction. Nothing is known about bassist Captain Cutter.
In 2012, Love & Satisfaction asked the Royal Seamen to open for them for a 3-night stand at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo club in Cabo San Lucas. The two bands hit it off and realized that their combination of talents and their passion for mellow grooves was something truly special that needed to be shared with the world. Yacht Blooded was born, and it’s been smooth sailing ever since.
