Zero to Fierce: Peacock in the Rubble
OCD made Marissa think her world would burn down. Then her house actually did. Through raw audio journals, childhood letters, and live performance, emerges a deeply personal story of loss, mental illness, and healing.
Marissa Rutka is a filmmaker and actor. She attended NYU’s Film and Television Program. Since graduating with a BFA and a minor in game design, she has worked as an editor, script supervisor, on camera reporter, and actor. Her solo show, A Peacock in the Rubble, had it’s premiere at the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival and won the Fierce Artist Award. It was also nominated for best solo show, and the Hollywood Fringe Denver Fringe Exchange award.
