Freesia laxa or False Freesia (syn. Anomatheca cruenta, Anomatheca laxa, Lapeirousia cruenta, Lapeirousia laxa) is a small cormous flowering plant from the eastern + southern Africa from Kenya to northeastern South Africa. It is grown in gardens as an ornamental plant.
