The Last Dockside Market of the Season

Toby in the Morning got to sit down with two very ocean conscious people who have been an integral part of the success of the Dockside Market on Madaket Plaza.

Eva Siders is the Dockside Assistant responsible for “running the show,” and Brayden Wiley is a volunteer that supports Ashley Vellis and the whole crew. However, they are both so much more than those supporting titles.

Eva worked under the Sea Grant in San Diego with the non-profit Fishful Future and has a keen eye on the ever-changing tides of our fishing community, and Brayden is completing his Masters at Cal Poly Humboldt researching our kelp forests, the recent depletion and rebuilding of this critical ecosystem.

We discuss just how important it is that you head down to the LAST Dockside Market this Saturday to say hello and thank you to all the amazing people involved in making this such a success….and leave with some tasty fresh fish as well.
