David Holper and Toby Talk Poetry

Bord för En* By Toby Tullis.
Taxi driver, fisherman, dishwasher, bus driver, soldier, house painter, bike mechanic, bike courier, teacher and very first Poet Laureate of Eureka, David Holper comes onto Toby in the Morning to discuss his latest book of poetry that was born in the heart of the pandemic.
Bord för En* is Swedish for “table for one” which also depicts a restaurant in Sweden, also born from pandemic days, that was one table in an open field and food was delivered on a basket/pulley system.
In his latest book, David does well to describe the uncertainty, the politics, the tactics and eventually the healing that took place in that not so distance time when we were all vacu-sealed as a planet and put on the shelf. His adventures in nature both local and abroad carve a path for those that might still be uncertain about their new perspective on the world.
Listen to the two friends discuss this wonderful collection of poems and perspective.
