We were visited in the booth by Ashley Osia, the Development Director with Friends of the Dunes to discuss their HUGE upcoming event this Saturday!

The Annual GET OUTSIDE GEAR SALE is an outdoor enthusiasts rummage sale offering gently used, to new, to vintage outdoor items for sale. Kayaks, canoes, tents, sleeping bags, lanterns and so so much more will be on display this Saturday our in Manilla. The Get Outside Gear Sale supports Friends of the Dunes’ education and stewardship programs, provides the community with excellent deals on outdoor gear, and encourages buying used, which is great for the environment!

Find great deals on gently used outdoor gear while supporting a great cause– free outdoor education programs for Humboldt County kids and stewardship of our native dune ecosystems.

Sale is Noon-3pm with prices being reduced at 2pm.

CHECK THIS OUT: Members can get in at 11am for premium picks, and you can become a member on the day of the event for as little as $20!
