Legendary B3 organist Melvin Seals, “Keeper of the Flame,” brings his Jerry Garcia Band to Blue Lake Casino’s Sapphire Palace for two benefit nights on January 17-18, supporting the family of the late Sean “Milt” Dolan. Local Dead tribute band Rosewater opens both shows.

Seals reflects on his 18-year partnership with Jerry Garcia, recalling their unspoken stage chemistry. Now leading an authentic JGB lineup, he promises different sets each night, drawing from the entire repertoire plus select Grateful Dead and Phish songs.
