On October 15th and for the 26th year, 25 children’s book authors from all over the country will descend on Humboldt county and promptly be delivered to their assigned school to spread the joy of literature! Then, on Saturday October 17th, all 25 authors will gather at the Eureka Branch of Humboldt County Libraries from 10am to 2pm.

Here they will sell and autograph books, gives speeches and further promote literacy, learning, and the joy of reading to local children.

All of this will support the ongoing Children’s Book Illustrator Exhibit running now through Oct. 25th at Morris Graves Museum of Art Youth Gallery as well as the non-profit Humboldt County Children’s Author Festival and is FREE to attend!

Toby in the Morning sat down with co-Coordinator Joan Williams and Communications Chair Katy Longshore. LISTEN BELOW to their interview!
