Toby in the Morning and Executive Director of Forest WRX Alliance, Christy Prescott got together to talk about the stewardship of our healthy and functional Humboldt County forests as well as the 2 day symposium approaching.
The Forest Bioeconomy Symposium, “From Fire Risk to Circular Stewardship,” will be focusing on the challenges of wildfire as well as the economic opportunities that lie within. This two-day working symposium intentionally convenes the people needed to build an entire regional forest bioeconomy.
Happening September 29–30 at the Tish Non Community Center in Loleta with the opening by Patrick Wright, the Director of the California Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force and featuring keynote speakers Dr. Raoul Klingner from the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany as well as Dr. John Warner, a pioneer of green chemistry.
