How About a Humboldt Hill Power Outage to Set the Valentine's Day Mood?
Numerous LoCO readers in Humboldt Hill have written in to say that they are currently in the dark. Sure enough, Blackout Bot chimes in noting that 1,029 customers are currently without the juice. PG&E has not yet cited a cause for the outage but says they have human-power checking it out. Seems likely that this CHP Watch incident, first mentioned on Scanner Traffic Indicates, in which a SUV hit a power pole would have something to do with it, but that has not been confirmed.
