Power Pole Fire Knocks Out Juice to Henderson Center
UPDATE, 1:31: Power was just restored, say numerous Hendo correspondents.

Henderson Center went dark this afternoon. Nearly 1,800 PG&E customers lost their electrical service a little before 1 p.m. — apparently after a power pole on the corner of F and Manzanita caught fire, somehow.
Friend o’ the LoCO Hans Christensen sent us the above photo of PG&E workers attending to this pole a few minutes ago. He tells us that smoke was still emanating from the pole, near the bottom.
As of this writing, PG&E expects the power to be back on by 4 p.m. Follow updates below.
