(UPDATE) Sizable Power Outage Affecting Rio Dell, Surrounding Areas

More than 2,400 customers are currently without power in the area encompassing Rio Dell, Scotia and Redcrest.

Kym Kemp reports that firefighters are battling a small vegetation fire near the Scotia Sawmill at the moment, but it’s unclear if the fire is related to the outages. PG&E is reportedly still investigating the cause at this time.
