Power Outage in Eureka

UPDATE: Says PG&E Spokesperson Deanna Contreras:

PG&E crews are working safely and as quickly as possible to restore power to the approximately 3,773 electric customers in Eureka who are currently without power due to a vehicle hitting a power pole.  The outage started around 1pm today.

The estimated time power will be returned to all customers is 4:30 this afternoon but many customers may have power before then.  And you may notice on the outage map that as crews continue to asses the situation, that time may change.
