Power Outage in Eureka

More than 2,000 Eureka residents are without power after a tree branch fell onto a set of power lines and briefly caught fire on Hemlock Street.

LoCO readers report hearing three small explosions before the power went out.

PG&E is on scene and estimates power will be restored by 2:30 p.m.
