UPDATE, 9:25 a.m.: As you can see in the map below, Old Town is back online. Parts of the Broadway corridor are still down, though.

A large swath of Eureka’s Old Town and downtown districts remain in the dark as the sun rises Monday morning due to an apparent power outage.
LoCO’s Blackout Bot suggests the issue may be the result of a “CAR POLE” encounter — meaning, of course, that some motorist probably had a rough night.
This page will update when conditions improve. If you work in Old Town, take the long way in.
