Original Post: Eureka enjoyed this morning’s calming darkness so much that we thought we’d go for round two. Numerous LoCO readers throughout Eureka report they are currently juiceless. LoCO’s Blackout Bot tells us that PG&E “found damaged equipment on a power pole” and is reporting 3,270 customers currently powerless.
Recent scanner traffic indicated that a caller noticed a transformer sparking on Henderson Street. Seems like you would not be all that crazy to speculate on a relation, there.
