Occurred on S Fortuna Blvd. RP was exiting the business and was approached by a male subject. Subject asked RP "What is the nationally here?" Rp stated "in Fortuna?". Subject stated he was from Eureka. Subject then asked the RP if there was a national monument in Fortuna. RP stated "no" and continued to her vehicle. RP stated the subject had a thin electronic device in his pocket and he kept his hand on it, similar to an iPhone. RP requested documentation as the encounter with the subject was suspicious and she felt like subject was just asking random questions to keep her there for longer. BMA, late 20's early 30's, bandana around dreadlocks, dressed in all black. Possibly associated with a dark mini van or small SUV type vehicle that was occupied by two other subjects.
