POLL! So How Are We Feeling About the Cal Poly Humboldt Protests?
Up at Cal Poly Humboldt, we’re on day three of what is shaping up to be many, many days. Pro-Palestine protestors show no sign of giving up occupied Siemens Hall, and the university, at the moment, seems reluctant to expel them by force.
So here we are. How are we feeling about it?

“I feel great! The young adults occupying Siemens Hall are truly our best. They are showing us the way forward. They represent our best hope of leveraging the United States’ power to end this terrible war. Open your hearts and let them lead us.”
?? %
“This is what you get when all you teach is critical race theory, and when leadership is too terrified to act. Clear the building now, expel some kids, fire some professors and build a new, more wholesome university where students would never dare pull shit like this.”
?? %
“I try to remind myself that this is what it looked like in the Sixties, and that actual important things happened because of demonstrations like this in times like that. But I have to keep reminding myself or I will forget it. Why?”
?? %
“It’s a hell of a show! Got my eyes glued to the livestream! They boinked that cop on the head with a water jug! Amazing.”
?? %
“Sigh. You’re going to make me explain myself in the comments, aren’t you?”
