Tomorrow’s Eureka Friday Night Market will be the last Friday Night Market of the Year? How is that possible?

This is the sixth year of the wildly popular weekly night market, which really got its legs post-pandemic, at a time when everyone was ready to partay. Nowadays you get — thousands? We’re gonna go with thousands — of people coming down to flood the streets of Old Town every Friday night, to drink and eat and shop and socialize and listen to music. It’s a ton of fun. And now, for this year, it’s almost over.

Is that just? Last year, Friday Night Market started later in the season and went all the way through the end of freakin’ October.  This year we’re not making it even to September.

But it got us thinking: What’s the ideal schedule for Friday Night Market?
