POLL! Just Curious! Should the President of the United States Be Allowed to Order the Military to Assassinate Their Political Rivals?
Earlier this week, former President Trump’s legal team put forth the idea that a president ordering SEAL Team Six to kill political opponents would be protected by executive immunity and thus could not be prosecuted. The exchange came during an appeals hearing in Washington where Trump’s lawyers are attempting to have a lower-court ruling tossed pertaining to Trump’s potential liability for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. How do y’all feel about that?
