POLL! After Election Night, It’s Pretty Clear One of These Two Men Will More Than Likely Be Your Next State Assembly Representative. Do You Have a Preference?

As the Super Tuesday dust settles, it would appear the vast majority of the local races have enough of a definitive outcome that we don’t really have to wait for the thousands of remaining ballots to be counted to confidently call them in our minds. Thanks for playing, voters.

One exception, though: The contest for the California State Assembly District 2 seat is officially a nail-biter. Republican candidate Mike Greer currently leads with 27% of the votes reported so far, but he is virtually guaranteed to go on to lose to which ever of the Democrats can eke out a second-place finish to earn the right to face him in a runoff in November.

As of Wednesday morning, Santa Rosa City Councilmember Chris Rogers sits at 20.4%, just above fellow Democrat Rusty Hicks, who has 19.2%. (For the record, Ariel Kelly has 14.6%.)

In all likelihood, either Rogers or Hicks will end up with the Democrat’s slot on the November ballot. So, with the field now all but narrowed down to two, do you have a favorite between these guys? Or not? Vote below.
