POLL! You Are a Cyclist on the New Humboldt Bay Trail and See a Pedestrian in Your Lane Up Ahead. What Do You Do?
Thanks to the completion of the Humboldt Bay Trail, which now connects Eureka and Arcata, a whole new generation of cyclists is taking to the pavement, while others are rekindling a passion for pedaling. What a time to be upright!
But with new concepts comes new need for education. We’ve heard some anecdotal evidence that not everyone agrees on what proper trail etiquette should be. Who has the right of way? Am I allowed to run over people? Hmm? So we thought: What better way to gauge how we’re all collectively feeling about how we should be conducting ourselves on our new shared path than to put it the the mighty LoCO Pollz-taking audience. Y’all are never wrong. Do us proud.

We must agree to some shared ideals before the Humboldt Bay Trail descends into the madness depicted here. Tick tock.
