There’s been a big push in recent years to make cities more bike-friendly. There are many such projects here in Humboldt, including the long-awaited Humboldt Bay Trail south, connecting Arcata to Eureka. That’s slated for completion next month. And Eureka’s “C Street Bike Boulevard” project, one of several city-led efforts to improve bike safety, is on the way.
