It’s strategic visioning season! At next week’s Eureka City Council meeting, the council will take up the annual task of putting down on paper its top priorities across a range of topics. That’s what “strategic visioning” is.

For today, we’re gonna focus in on the section devoted to “Community Pride” and Pollzify™ it.

What is “community pride,” you ask? Well, it is

…the shared sense of belonging, identity, and positive connection that residents feel toward their city or region. It is fostered through inclusive engagement, celebration of local culture and accomplishments, beautification efforts, and public initiatives that reflect community values. Cultivating community pride strengthens civic involvement, enhances quality of life, and promotes a unified vision for the future.

Below are the 10 “tasks” listed as priorities for the council, community pride-wise. Which of them is best? Which of them would most boost Eureka’s pride?
