POLL! The Buildings Burned Down in Arcata Last Week Will be Replaced. When?

Arcata is still reeling from the loss of half a block of its downtown from that terrible fire on Friday. It’s going to take some doing to get the rubble cleared. The Arcata City Council will get an update on the situation at a special meeting early tomorrow morning.
But we’ve been through this before, here in Humboldt County. The Feuerwerker building. Marino’s and the Northcoast Environmental Center. The old Globe Imports at Third and G in Eureka, which burned in 2006 — only last year did construction begin on something to replace it.
Arcata will be living with the scar of this fire for some time. How much time, do you suppose?
