Just over a month ago, we asked you, our loyal LoCO readership, who you’d be pulling for in the 2026 World Cup. The top vote-getters, among the actual nations in our 51-choice poll, were the United States, France, Mexico, Spain and Brazil.
Suddenly, here we are on the eve of the semifinals, and two of those five teams remain alive! (Alas, the U.S. squad was brutally spanked by Belgium and has thus been eliminated.) So what’ll it be? Who are you rooting for now?
