POLL! Should Eureka’s Fourth and Fifth Streets Be Reduced to Two Lanes?

At last night’s Eureka City Council meeting, Councilmember Leslie Castellano floated the idea of reducing the number of lanes on Fourth and Fifth streets from three to two. She said there should be “at least an opportunity for people to express whether or not they would support such a thing.”

Happy to oblige! LoCO readers, we ask: For the sake of public safety, should Eureka’s main east-west corridors be reduced from three lanes apiece to two?
