OK, it’s time once again for a LoCO Too-Early Election Pollz!™ Who are you liking in the Arcata City Council race?

Now, we say too early … but is it that early, really? Next week ballots will be mailed out.

Also next week (on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.), the most pivotal event in any local election calendar: The League of Women Voters will be hosting its Arcata Candidates’ Forum on KEET-TV and Access Humboldt and streaming live everywhere. (Click here for details.)

And also: If you can haul ass down to Eureka and/or if you have a Facebook account, you can catch the Humboldt Association of Realtors’ candidate forum this evening at 5:30 p.m. Details here; Facebook livestream here.

It’s time to get cracking! Two seats on the Arcata City Council are up for election, so you’re going to get to vote for two of the below people. But let’s say you could only vote for one. Which one would you vote for? You can hit up LoCO Elections for some pre-vote research if you like.

Flashback to 2016, when Jenny O. captured the Arcata vibe — or AN Arcata vibe — for her summer smash hit “Well OK Honey.” Which candidate will bring back Jenny O.?
