At 9:04 p.m., Arcata Police Department received a VEHICLE BURGLARY call for 900 BLOCK OF Block of COURTYARD CIR. Link here.

At 6:43 p.m., Eureka Police Department received a DISTURBANCE WITH WEAPONS call for 700 BLOCK OF Block of WOOD ST. Link here.

They haven’t blown it up yet. Meanwhile, Nazy Javid is back at the scene jawing with photographer Mark McKenna. In the time she’s been broadcasting during this stint, there was a fenderbender in front of the incident and a car apparently broke down.

The police have closed down W. Washington Street in Eureka while they investigate a suspicious package. A guy at Six Rivers Solar tells the Outpost that the showed up after the package was found between their store and Don’s Rent-All.
