DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…South winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph possible. Strongest winds typically occur across exposed ridges and coastal headlands.

* WHERE…Coastal Del Norte, Del Norte Interior, Southwestern Humboldt, Northern Humboldt Interior and Southern Humboldt Interior Counties.

* WHEN…From Monday evening through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
