DESCRIPTION
* WHAT…Heavy snow expected above 1000 feet. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 12 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph.
* WHERE…Portions of northwest California.
* WHEN…From 1 PM Tuesday to 4 PM PST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 120 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.
