DESCRIPTION
* WHAT…Hail and occasional snow expected below 1000 feet. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE…Coastal Del Norte and Northern Humboldt Coast Counties.
* WHEN…From 1 PM Tuesday to 4 PM PST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 120 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.
