DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…Heavy snow above 1000 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 8 to 24 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. Highest snowfall amounts across elevated ridges.

* WHERE…Northern Humboldt Interior, Southern Humboldt Interior, Northern Trinity and Southern Trinity Counties.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Highest snowfall totals will be across ridges, while lowest snowfall amounts will be in valleys.
