* WHAT…For the Winter Storm Warning Monday into Tuesday, heavy snow of 1 to 2 feet expected above 1500 feet, with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph Monday morning with near blizzard conditions for a few hours along high elevations. 1 to 4 inches of snow accumulation may fall to as low as 500 feet tonight into Monday. For the Winter Weather Advisory above 2500 feet today, snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Humboldt Interior, Southern Humboldt Interior, Northwestern Mendocino Interior, Northeastern Mendocino Interior and Northern Lake Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, from 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Tuesday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 1 AM to 1 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible, especially Monday. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
