DESCRIPTION
* WHAT…Heavy snow of 1 to 2 feet expected above 1500 feet, with locally higher amounts. Winds gust as high as 55 mph Monday morning with near blizzard conditions for a few hours along high elevations. 1 to 4 inches of snow accumulation may fall to as low as 500 feet tonight into Monday.
* WHERE…Northern Humboldt Interior, Southern Humboldt Interior, Northwestern Mendocino Interior, Northeastern Mendocino Interior and Northern Lake Counties.
* WHEN…10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible, especially Monday. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
