DESCRIPTION
* WHAT…Heavy snow expected above 500 feet. Total snow accumulations ranging from 4 inches near 500 feet to 24 inches across higher ridges. Snow may accumulate at elevations below 500 feet Saturday morning and Saturday night into Sunday morning. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph on ridgetops.
* WHERE…Interior Humboldt, interior Del Norte, northern and northwestern Mendocino, Lake, and Trinity counties.
* WHEN…From 4 AM Saturday to 4 PM PST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
