…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM PDT WEDNESDAY ABOVE 2500 FEET…

* WHAT…For the Winter Storm Warning above 2000 feet, heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to 10 inches. For the Winter Weather Advisory above 2500 feet, snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Humboldt Interior and Southern Humboldt Interior Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, until 2 PM PDT this afternoon. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 9 PM this evening to 9 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
