INSTRUCTIONS
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of low relative humidity, warm temperatures, and thunderstorm outflow winds can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
DESCRIPTION
* AFFECTED AREA…Fire weather zones 204, 211, 212, 277 and 283.
* THUNDERSTORMS…Scattered thunderstorms with abundant lightning on dry fuels resulting in an increased threat for fire starts.
* OUTFLOW WINDS…Erratic outflow winds gusting to 40 mph.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
