INSTRUCTIONS
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
DESCRIPTION
* AFFECTED AREA…Portions of fire weather zones 201, 211, 212, 264, 276, 277, and 283.
* WIND…East-northeast winds with peak gusts ranging from 30 to 50 mph at mid and upper elevations.
* HUMIDITY…Minimum relative humidity values in the teens with very poor overnight recoveries.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
