* WHAT…West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
* WHERE…Del Norte Interior, Southwestern Humboldt, Northern Humboldt Interior and Southern Humboldt Interior Counties. Strongest over the higher terrain.
* WHEN…Until 9 PM PST this evening.
* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A brief period of strong northwest winds is expected this evening behind a front.
