DESCRIPTION

At 340 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers 17 miles northwest of Petrolia, or 28 miles northwest of Honeydew, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Honeydew, Fortuna, Rio Dell, McKinleyville, Carlotta, Westhaven-Moonstone, Scotia, Petrolia, Ferndale, Myrtletown, Cutten, Hydesville, Capetown, Humboldt Hill, Freshwater, Arcata Arpt, Fernbridge, and Samoa.
