At 712 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles west of Eureka, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Myrtletown, Cutten, Bayview, Samoa, Fairhaven, Pine Hills, and Humboldt Hill.
