Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

DESCRIPTION

At 929 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from near McKinleyville to 7 miles northwest of Fortuna. Movement was east at 30 mph. Minor urban or small stream flooding is possible due to the previous heavy rainfall.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, McKinleyville, Westhaven-Moonstone, Ferndale, Myrtletown, Cutten, Humboldt Hill, Samoa, Arcata Arpt, Loleta, Fieldbrook, Pine Hills, Bayview, and Fernbridge.
